Neil Redfearn Has His First Loss As Leeds Manager

The first game ever of Neil Redfearn as the manager of Leeds ended in disappointment when they lost the game with 3-1 goals. Bruno Manga’s first goal for Cardiff and the strike of Federico Macheda is what gave the Bluebirds the control of the match.

The Leeds got a little bit of hope from Alex Mowatt but it was Kenwyne Jones who made a point when he pulled up the defense trick and made his 6th goal of the season. Just before the kickoff, redfearn was confirmed of his appointment and he had told the third manager to take charge of the Yorkshire Club for the season and now the fans can only hope that he can also have the same stabilizing capacity that Slade had over Cardiff.

The fans of Bluebird are supposed to be sympathetic given the conditions the Leeds counterparts had to go through under the ownership of Vincent Tan. Even after this they are perfectly back into the game with three wins under the supervision of Slade who brought them closer to the playoffs.

United fought as much as they could and Cardiff rarely showed the threats of taking over the control. In the 11th minute, Marco Silvestri was made to lay low and keep to his left when Peter Whittingham got his free kick and clawed away of keeper Anthony Pilkington’s header.

The second half of the match was almost same as it settled to be a pattern and the fans were not at all surprised when Cardiff took the lead once again. When Macheda came forward and took control 6 minutes later, he landed a goal to the top corner after the ball was hit by Jason Pearce’s boot and it got deflected. The Leeds found their way back into the game with the help of doukara who got himself at a distance from Fabio and chose Mowatt to fire that angled drive across Marshall.
